      Great place for growth opportunity

      Pros

Most management staff will go the extra mile for you if you are equally invested in learning from them and doing great work. There is a lot to do and if you are a team player you will be rewarded. There are tons of opportunities to take on projects that are outside of your day-to-day job. This can lead to further professional development and mentorship opportunities.

      Cons

There are a lot of staff who feel that they are entitled to promotions and salary increases faster than they should expect it. There is a lot of work to be done and staff work hard, but that doesn't mean that everyone is going to get promoted or salary increases on a yearly or consistent basis. A lot of staff just aren't realistic with their expectations and they then leave the company which, unfortunately, leave those behind to pick up the pieces, which means even more work. Cross departmental or cross segment collaboration is really tough. Every department operates under different standards and expectations. There could be more streamlined management techniques, cultural expectations, office policies, etc. to help ease this collaboration.

      Good for growth

      Jul 21, 2020 - Coordinator

      Business Outlook

      Pros

1.It's a good first time job for anyone looking for work experience. You are given opportunities to take on responsibility which typically does not happen for young people in the workforce. This is not a typical 9 to 5 job, if you do not want to make decisions/ have extra responsibility this company is not for you. 2. Most people are genuinely nice and are really there because they love the work that is completed.

      Cons

As much as I liked the people I worked with the cons outweigh the pros. 1. Extremely disorganized. It's only very recently that they started to try and fix processes but it still wasn't enough. 2. Terrible work life balance and pay. There are a few reviews here that state people have unrealistic expectations surrounding promotions, salary raises etc, the truth is they demand a lot from their workers and the compensation is very low for the amount of work you do. This is definitely the main reason for high turnover but no one wants to address this. 3. Culture of denial from upper management. Despite claiming they wanted to decrease turnover they consistently ignore feedback and conclude that people were not the right fit for the organization. 4. Inexperienced upper management. Pretty much if you were there long enough and upper management liked you, you received a promotion. Most people were not qualified for upper management roles and it caused a large amount of disorganization.

      Don’t join the cult

      Jul 2, 2020 - Associate Director
      Recommend

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great humans that actually care about the organization Lots of opportunities to wear many hats

      Cons

Cult like organization Once they suck you in the emotional abuse and the premise that you’re saving the world and helping people keeps you locked in till you have to reach for help to get you out Pay as an associate director was 55k. A joke Hires senior leadership without considering fit or skills. Bad leadership and no sense of career development If regarded at valuable will pay you base salary + consultant fees - Rich get richer. Poor get poorer Forget about a work life balance. They work you to the ground Very disgusting work spaces with rats and sewage leaks All they do is take take take And anything the VIPs day will go. Even if it means losing money
