I worked at McKesson full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Good compensation if you handle this properly during your selection - Good IT tools - computer, MS 365, etc - Good work/life balance (although this is is showing strain under the pandemic)

    Cons

    - Too many well-paid incompetent employees who obsess on politics over results - Recently hired senior leaders are charming sociopaths who don't care about you - Embarassingly ineffective HR - I don't know how some show their face

    I worked at McKesson full-time

    Pros

It's a massive company and carries the brand name. Has nothing else to offer apart from that.

    Cons

I cannot speak on behalf of other teams, but oh boy, do I have a lot to say about the Finance team!!! There is no diversity in the hiring process and it is so transparent. There is no balance between work and personal life, a few of my mates were called to work on a weekend and his wife was having a baby. It is beyond me as to how a person can be this inconsiderate! A couple of managers and supervisors, who shall remain unnamed, are some of the worst colleagues you can ever ask for. They are extremely manipulative and will go to any extent to deflect blame and throw their subordinates under the bus. The senior management is turning a blind eye to this issue despite the fact that the entire team knows where the problem exists. Depressing and colorless work environment that will sap ever bit of energy and happiness out of you. While on my way to work, I would sometimes not wear my seatbelt on purpose hoping to meet with a terrible accident. Please avoid and save yourselves. The peanuts they pay you is not worth the heart-wrenching, energy draining cesspool of a work environment you'll have to work in.
