Pros
Team Atmosphere within departments, raises are usually done at appropriate times, open door policy with upper management, holidays are usually granted without exception and the ability to take a day for a personal matter is greeted fairly.
Cons
A bit cliquish, departments tend to stick to themselves, there is a sense of "us vs them" mentality between the office and the field, employee benefits could be better - ie, no short term disability benefits, purchased by a U.S. company so there is currently severe cost cutting happening between staff layoffs and other ways in order to just "save a buck"., The overall culture and company values have dramatically changed, and not always for the better.
