      For me, the main “pro” was that when this company moved in to take over our workplace, it was a clear signal to start polishing my resume and looking for a new job.

      Cons

      In my experience, there is no real future in the company. The benefits feel terrible and misleading, and the 401k is one of the weakest I’ve seen. For a company that promotes itself as a Fortune 400/500 organization, the benefits are extremely disappointing. The constant emphasis on that status feels pointless when the benefits are this poor. The holiday policy was especially frustrating for me: the company advertises holidays off, but in practice I only received the day when it fell on a day I wasn’t scheduled to work. When a holiday landed on one of my regular workdays, I was still expected to work, which made the “holiday” benefit feel misleading.
