The issue is that we are trying to contain that Ferrari engine inside a "Civic" framework. (Don't get me wrong—the Civic is still a very good car). The tools and the team are generally reliable and get the job done. But they aren't always built to handle the sheer torque and ambition coming from the CEO.
This creates friction. The development team specifically felt this gap. Some developers weren't ready for that level of intensity (or honestly were not even qualified enough) and were let go, which led to some bitter reviews. But if you are ambitious and tough, you will love it here.
Yes, code base in not ideal, but that was the cost you have to pay in order to grow fast.
