      Pros

      It's a stable company with self-motivated people on board. Wonderful team spirit. I value the fact that my manager is clear with deadlines, expected outcomes, and growth opportunities. This approach creates an atmosphere of trust and helps me to stay on top of my tasks. We have a global customer base, so it's an environment where I have tons of opportunities to learn new things about the industry and build connections.

      Cons

      I don't have any big concerns to share. I would only emphasize that my role requires strong collaboration with the internal team and the clients.

      This is a very nice review, but I think it is posted to the wrong MEECO. We have no operation in Canada! Instead, we are a technology manufacturing company based in Warrington, PA, USA.

      Horrbile work place

      Pros

      The people were nice, but this is a terrible place to work due to money problem and the management is disfunctional.

      Cons

      Disfunctional management. Revolving door of employees. People are fired for insignificant reasons. Hostile work environment due to owner. Verbally abuse from owner and CEO. No regular reviews. Pay cuts every year. Facility is bad shape. Owner expect you to do 2 or 3 jobs, some of which you are not even trained to do, then when the outcome is not positive you get all the blame. No director of operation (plant manager) for two years.

      As I am close to a decade behind on a response to this review, I have to say that it is quite painful to see how unhappy the reviewer was at our business. Coming out of the Great Recession was a challenging time for us, and we sacrificed together to keep our company alive. Today, MEECO is a vibrant, stable business, with a much-improved physical plant, a capable production manager, investment in cross-training and advanced training in tools, like Salesforce; and very little turnover. To the extent that I, as CEO, in any way did or said anything that was hurtful or abusive, I wish to humbly apologize to this reviewer and make amends in every way possible. Having worked for some "crazy" bosses myself when I was young, I know how awful and demoralizing that can be. Please know that I focus every day and in all that I do to be respectful and a good role model. With sincere apologies, Lisa PS: I only just got on GD two weeks ago, which is why I did not respond sooner!

      Pros

      The co-workers are the best. I wish upper management would see this in their employees. Instead, employees are laid off or fired. Employees walk on egg shells.

      Cons

      The owners micro manage everything. We have meetings for the meetings. They don't give raises or reviews often but give pay cuts. Company is run on emotional feelings and nothing is rational. We have parties when we are on pay cuts.
