Pros

You don't need any experience. Snag a stable job with health insurance and office perks for the small price of: your sanity.

Cons

Picture this: You’re in your 20’s and you don’t have much experience. You find LeadVision. It boasts happy hours, ping pong, and a decent starting salary. Plus, the hiring manager is totally into you. Seems too good to be true. Newsflash - it is. Run while you can. I get it. You need experience. In a year or two, if it truly sucks, you’ll quit. How bad can it be? Here are some things to keep in mind when making your decision: - The company is incredibly disorganized and has its hands in too many pots. There is no overarching plan or goal. Generally, if one is set, it is almost immediately changed. You'll often work on a project for months just for it to get thrown out when management doesn't see results in six seconds. Sometimes, contests are offered with prizes for whoever can meet the most recent, rushed, & impossible goal. These likely won't be fully followed through on, so don't get your hopes up. They're looking for a quick buck, not a solid, sustainable business plan. - Most of the employees are overworked. This is framed nicely in the interview as "wearing many hats". The reason pay is decent and there are "perks" is because the CEO prefers it if your life revolves around the company. Don't even think about actually using your PTO. - Management hands out lofty titles like “senior” or “executive” at the end of your first year, but the raises don't match. If you really want a pay raise, become a manager. Only downside is you'll have to sell your soul, tattle on your team, and start drama. - You’re expected to consistently show up to happy hours, after-work events, and socials. You’ll also be expected to act like you're having the time of your life. (If you're a female, this means being aggressively bubbly. A meeting was actually called once because a team was "too quiet".) I could keep going, but that's the gist. If you’re using these reviews to decide whether or not to work at LeadVision, just know that I strongly advise against it. If you do go for it though, best of luck. You’ll make a therapist very rich one day. Heads up - block management on social media. You'll thank me later.

We appreciate the feedback from the author of this review. We highly encourage all employees to communicate any concerns with their managers. This is how we can institute change and retain our most valuable team members. Communication between employees and managers is important, because we simply don’t know what we don’t know. We value feedback from current and former employees and will use this information to help us become a better company. LeadVision has always been a company that believes in hard work in a very fun environment. That has always been our preference. Although every event we do is optional for every employee, we understand how this may not be a perfect fit for everyone. Perhaps our management team can come up with a team building and celebration policy that takes everyone’s personal preferences into consideration. Admittedly, we do try and launch several projects throughout the year and this can certainly lead to some wear and tear. We, as a company, do not expect every project to be a success. This can lead to some projects being cut short. We do this so that we are not wasting our employee’s time, and we can shift their focus to more important and meaningful projects. We promote employees annually if their performance meets or exceeds our expectations. LeadVision’s average annual raise is ~12%, exceeding industry standards. We also reward our employees for their hard work with 37 paid days off in their first year, including a one week paid Holiday Break and a one week paid Spring Break. In addition to PTO and holiday pay, we also offer paid maternity leave and paid bereavement leave. Also, each employee earns an extra two days of PTO each year. We understand that our employees need a work life balance and we do our best to provide that. LeadVision stands behind our employees and we are inspired by them daily. We will continue to listen to the feedback from current and past employees to institute positive change.

Pros

Trying to think of any. Free snacks

Cons

This is the worst job anyone could ever have. Management is unqualified. CEO is narcissistic. Red flags all around. Constant revolving door of employees that they can’t even afford to pay.

Hi readers. There does seem to be a bit of a trend here. (1) Pros: Since the author did not provide any, I'll go ahead and do it for them. Yes, free snacks and drinks are a perk. In addition, we offer 35 paid days off in your first year. This includes a Christmas Break and a Spring Break. In addition, we offer a Matching 401K, Flex Time, 12 full weeks of Family Leave, a $1,000.00 Fitness stipend and full health benefits. As far as Red Flags, notice the author did not provide any of those. There is also not a revolving door. The last few employees we lost, simply weren't a good fit for our company, like the author of this article. Since the author left, we were very fortunate to bring on a tenured BD Executive with many years of experience. He was the person we were looking for and we are very grateful!

I have to agree with the author of the post. We do have great people working for LeadVision and we have an incredible company culture. Our people are our most valuable commodity and we celebrate them often. Every birthday, every anniversary, every major event! In addition to our celebrations, we enjoy team building events and motivational speakers. On Thursdays, we shut the office down early for “Thirsty Thursday”! Oh, and we just kicked off our beer pong tournament. Starting in June, we will launch our third company-sponsored vacation competition. This time, our people will compete, as teams, to win an all-expense paid vacation to Key West. We also offer a matching 401K plan and full health benefits. In addition, we offer 32 paid days off in employee’s first year with us; with an additional two days paid every year thereafter. We truly value our people. As far as the quality of our product, we are a lead generation company. Our leads convert at around 3 – 5%. This is standard for the industry. For some clients, this falls right in line with their own lead generation efforts. For others, it may not work. It’s kind of like pistachio ice cream. Some people love it but it may not be a good fit for others! Like any company, some people pursue other careers even though we hate to see them go. Other times, we have let people go so they can pursue opportunities that are more in tune with their skill sets and abilities. It is unfortunate that the author of this post did not have the experience that he/she was expecting. I certainly wish them great success in their journey! If you are looking for a career where you are supported, encouraged, well paid and offered a hybrid work schedule, then we would love to speak with you. You could be the next LV team member we were looking for!
