Pros

Only good thing was they had a fully stock fridge and snacks

Cons

One of the worst companies I have ever worked at! i have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. i was constantly being watched and judged by my facial expressions i was told i look miserable why? because i didn't have a constant smile on my face and would rather work than socialize and play ping pong. Most of the Managers are unprofessional have a lack of experience and shouldn't even be in management . when they hire you they forget to mention even though your getting 3 catered lunches a week most are not actually catered... you will be obligated to be in the kitchen preparing them and I mean actually cooking and using knives .. they tell you to help move conference table that weighs 500 pound or more set up and break down chairs when they have meetings or owner is teaching a class for his other company ... and not to mention the dirty looks you will get if you don't want to participate, especially if you don't want to play in there ping pong tournaments... all they care about is how you fit in and socialize with them.. not the quality of your work, and forbid if you have a voice or opinion about something ... not to mention for the very short time i was there at least 5 people quit ...So if you want to socialize, be under payed, be a cook, a mover and enjoy ping pong then you will fit right in or you will be terminated.

Pros

I've met great people at VisiStat who are also no longer there.

Cons

Management will pretend everything is fine and behind your back will discuss how bad you are. Upper management does not have a clue how to mentor and have an open conversation with their employees. The majority of the time if they are not happy with you, you will be the last one to know about it. The CEO tends to appreciate employees who are his friends. In the past he had employees who did nothing but sit in the office and micromanage everyone else around. Also were included in every management meeting and once again did absolutely nothing. Have you ever heard about getting promoted without having an increase in pay? The managements' reasoning is that you still need to prove yourself. Every positive review has likely been posted by management, especially the review which mentions how the company employed sales reps who were not willing to work hard. If this were the case how come the sales reps who are no longer with the company are currently successful at other companies? Don't expect to get paid well in this company. The owner is extremely frugal and expects a lot.

VisiStat or Titanic?

Pros

Most colleagues are receptive and positive. If you are on the dev or support side, you are golden. If you're in sales on the other hand... not so much. I will say I am thankful for some of the people I met while working there.

Cons

I started working at VisiStat during the "Golden Era" when it was a fun place to work and there was an all around positive atmosphere. It was once a great place to work, full of driven people and management that had an open door policy. It was a great culture where people worked hard and played hard. Things began to trend downward in the Fall of 2014. Management made poor hiring decisions which led to the start of a broken team. While the team used to bounce around ideas and thrived off one another, it now is apparent by the processes put in place that the CEO would much rather have a team micromanaged and doesn't give anyone an ounce of freedom. This has been the greatest downfall at VisiStat. No one wants to come into the office and feel like they have to walk on egg shells. This has been the atmosphere in VisiStat for most of 2015, which is clearly not working. I can't begin to tell you how many sales people have been hired then left on their own accord or fired within this year alone. The turnover rate is one of the most ridiculous things that I've seen. But these are just "growing pains" as another review suggested? Most likely not. Bottom line, when I was there I wasn't happy. And I know about 90% of the sales team felt the same because we would all vent to one another. And to be very transparent, the cherry on top is that the SDR's get paid a 36k salary, and you have to fight tooth and nail to get a raise- even if you get promoted to the AE position. All in all my experience with VisiStat was not the most positive experience of my life. I honestly question the positive reviews that have recently been posted. The the last year it has been nothing less than a rocky and unstable environment, and anyone who is being honest knows it.
