Pros

The Unlimited Vacation Pay is great and helpful. They take mental health seriously

Cons

The work has become fairly sparse and often lead to slow days. The company is moving in a declining direction and I would not be surprised if it is sold or bankrupts as the crypto markets continue to decline

Pros

Dog friendly office. Open and collaborative communication, for both exciting and challenging topics. Company is striving to be a safe, diverse, and inclusive place to be, from the base talent practices through the people operations practices throughout the company. Catered lunch daily. People are treated with respect and empathy. Mental health is held to a great standard of importance. Flexibility and autonomy for how to do my job, but with the support of a HUGE amount of experience from the international HQ in London. Leaders are accountable - they follow up on what they've said they would commit to, and are conscious of clear and open dialogue if for some reason something has changed. People at the Edmonton office are super fun and collaborative to work with! Office is in a great location above a coffee shop. Very exciting project at the Edmonton studio. Chance to work with another exciting project out of Seattle. And finally - OFFICE. SLIPPERS. (need I say more?).

Cons

Sometimes challenging to feel included in the company as a whole because most of the broad team is based in the UK in another time zone. Can be difficult to be working daily on a project you can't actually talk about externally (both difficult and exciting!). There are times where it seems things are in flux - part of being in an exciting, dynamic environment though so this could be a pro as well. Impossible to meet Fitbit daily step goal because there is no need for me to leave the office building...

Pros

Great benefits, management that cares for their workers and the lives that they lead, support for more learning and training. The company culture is outstanding.

Cons

Some working across timezones as the head office is in London, but this is easily accommodated for and made as easy as possible by investing in remote solutions.
