My experience has been consistently discouraging. There’s a strong sense that tenure and relationships influence opportunities here. some part-time employees move ahead faster, while long-term hourly staff can be let go without clear explanation. This creates uncertainty around fairness and how decisions are made. Leadership often feels disconnected from day-to-day operations. Communication is very top-down, and some interactions from leadership can come across as dismissive or lacking respect toward employees. Decisions are not always clearly explained, which makes it difficult to understand changes that directly impact staff. Accountability does not feel consistently applied. It can shift depending on tenure or relationships rather than being applied evenly across teams. Leaders often discuss issues without directly addressing the person involved, which leads to honest conversations being avoided and creates confusion and a lack of clarity within teams.
There is also a noticeable gap between external messaging and internal experience because they want to win an award and impress the main company. This company presents a very polished image around recognition and employee appreciation, but this does not always reflect day-to-day reality. For example, employees featured and recognized on social media-- the individuals included in a post were let go a day before. Another, during the holiday party, employees were asked to bring their own food, while the company provided only a small cake that was not sufficient for the team, along with a $10 mug as a gift. Recognition and events are often highlighted on social media, which can make these moments feel more focused on presentation than true employee appreciation.
Hiring managers over time tend to share their frustrations about their own hires with other team members rather than address issues directly with the individuals involved.
Promotions and career advancement are very rare, and in some cases employees may also be demoted based on management decisions. it can be a challenging environment for employees looking for growth.
Very autocratic environment.
