Don't expect much, get a year in or two, and get out
May 26, 2023 - Anonymous Employee in Montreal, QCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Adequately challenging. The workload is fine, nothing too crazy & no expectation to work past 5pm. It’s a 35 hour work week with 1hr unpaid lunch. - Good benefits like: “unlimited” PTO, 50% discount on both brands, 3% RRSP employer match, eligible bonus up to 5%, extended health care & group insurance. - Hybrid policy is still in place, but has been modified and may change without warning (went from 2 to 3 or 4 days depending on your department). - Subsidized food at the cafeteria is decent (expect to pay $6-12 for lunch). - The office itself is nicely designed and very spacious. - The people are friendly overall. - You're working for a recognizable brand, which is good experience for your resume and they have more budget than smaller brands.
Cons
- They really do not know what they stand for as a brand and it is laughable to what extent there are meetings and people hired to figure out their identity. - If you have a problem and need accommodation, don't speak up because you will be penalized (as another reviewer stated). Your salary and bonus will be affected. - HR will paint a picture that is not lined up with reality to get you to sign on. - The briefing and approval process need a lot of work. People are poorly organized and projects are often given late. - Upper management is uptight and are what you can expect from a corporate environment; very old-school.

Great clothes with a great discount as an employee. Back then you could make quite a bit of $ depending on your sales (not sure if that still applies).
Cons
Lots of pressure to sell. Some head office supervisors can be hard to work with. Lots of time spent working alone (early morning and lunch hour).
