It was seamless. We talked about our passions and experience in retail. It felt like talking to an old friend. I had one interview and was given the written offer very quickly.

To say that the interview process at GDI was extensive would be an understatement. I had to endure 10 rounds of interviews and complete a test, over a span of three months. Additionally, they successfully conducted a reference and background check, which only added to my anticipation for a positive outcome. The most disappointing part of my experience was the complete radio silence from the company following my last interview. After putting in so much time, effort, and energy, I reached out to the hiring manager and HR multiple times, hoping for some feedback or closure. Unfortunately, I was met with nothing but silence. I understand that not all applicants can be hired, and I'm fine with that. However, leaving candidates in the dark after they've invested a significant amount of time and energy is highly unprofessional and disrespectful. It's essential for companies to maintain open lines of communication, even when delivering less-than-positive news. I would not recommend this employer for the way they treat candidates during the interview process. It must be very telling of the internal culture at GDI. Treating candidates with respect and transparency should be a fundamental part of any company's values, and my experience at GDI fell far short of this expectation.

the interview process was normal. usual interview questions about background and skills. The people interviewing me were very friendly. However what I was told the role would be in the interview did not reflect the role in reality, very disappointing. Seemed like they told me what I wanted to hear in order to hire me.

Very easy, typical questions. Got hired 3 days after. Have to pass a background check and you're good to go. Very good people, very to the point. I would def suggest for anyone wanting to work part time it's worth it, but not your full time .
- Do you have any sales experience?

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Groupe Dynamite (Montreal, QC) in Jan 2023
Was a relatively standard interview where they asked about your background and recent experience. Be prepared for specific questions as they relate to software and direct experience with different suites. I was shocked to hear their policy surrounding vacation and how it is essentially open ended, which caught me by surprise. Overall seemed like a nice place to work with an innovative and pragmatic approach to the ecomm space.
- Do you have experience with SAS systems, if so what? What CRMs are you familiar with?
