Pros

A lot of freedom, mostly great people

Cons

Majority of staff is under 35, not experienced enough but don't understand this Underpay senior positions above AC level Make people work at the next job level above them for more than a year but won't promote them Undersell work and then leave millions of dollars on the table because upper mgt can't manage clients let alone projects BT is an embarrassment. No skills in project mgt, client mgt or requirements gathering. Offshore delivers some of the biggest pieces of garbage I've ever seen in my career Entire culture of BT even onshore, is that of India: people are things to be exploited and commodified. Work them into the ground for marginal quality, who cares

Pros

Strong culture and collaborative environment with smart, supportive colleagues. Admins are trusted partners and get exposure to senior leadership, which provides great learning opportunities. Compensation and benefits are competitive compared to similar roles.

Cons

Workload can be high, with admins often supporting multiple stakeholders while also providing backup coverage. Expectations can vary widely depending on the team, which can create inconsistency and pressure. Career growth paths are less structured and require a lot of self-direction. Work-life balance can be challenging at times, especially across time zones.
