Thank you for your feedback. First and foremost, we have a zero-tolerance policy for unethical behavior, and our playbook has always instructed our folks to communicate our product clearly and accurately. In addition, our management style at Yelp is very hands-on, and to some this may feel like micro-management. Our goal is to give ample support for our sales team while they learn new sales skills and practice new tactics. This sometimes includes things like barging calls to assist with closing deals or managers having team check-ins multiple times per day to ensure everyone is on-track to achieve their goals. We know this approach is not for everyone, but we've created a successful and supportive environment through this strategy. We invite you to share additional details about your experience by emailing employeefeedback@yelp.com. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you the very best in your next role.

Pros

Lots of communication with management - depending on the manager of course.

Cons

Being an AE at a company like Yelp is not easy. You have to have the work ethic and the ability to be able and willing to cold call, be hung up on, say the same things over and over again.
