Pros

Work from home. That's the only reason I stayed. Plus the economy is not great right now.

Cons

Never trust your manager in this company. Their only function is to document your weaknesses and micro manage you. I have never seen so many incompetent managers gathered in one place. Yelp has been employing methods such as compensation cuts and PIPs to encourage people to leave and reduce headcount instead of layoff and paying proper severance like many other big tech companies. Yelp is so dishonest with it's employees and does not really care about them. The other con is that small businesses actually hate Yelp due to it's dishonesty and you feel so unaccomplished by working here. Plus all of your friends ask you "is Yelp still alive"?

Pros

Excellent training, supportive team culture, and strong opportunities for professional growth. Yelp provides a fast-paced environment where employees can develop valuable sales, communication, and relationship-building skills. Leadership is encouraging, and top performers are recognized and rewarded.

Cons

The role can be challenging for those who are not comfortable with sales or working toward performance goals, but the training and support provided help employees succeed.
