The proprietary stack is archaic and a pain to work with. Nobody has found a way to move away from it yet, not sure why. Many people here have only worked in Workday and do not have experience with the technology the rest of the world uses.
If you come in as a grad to work on the proprietary stack you'll be unemployable anywhere else.
