Pros

It’s still tech, benefits are great. If you are from a tech sales background and you live for SKO bull you’ll probably be happy.

Cons

Focus moving from anything truly interesting or innovative on the product or ops side, emphasis entirely on GTM motions and market penetration. If you aren’t homogenous tech sales dude bro, the environment is becoming hostile. Folks with experience are leaving or being let go and competency is being replaced with butt kissing and standing relationships. No interest in actual programatic improvement, hard conversations or reality checks that could make a senior leader uncomfortable. Product knowledge no longer valued cross functionally.

Pros

Great culture at the peer to peer level. Excellent learning opportunities, good benefits and great name for resume.

Cons

Pretend to be transparent but a lot of smoke & mirrors. Significant cuts to comp plans & commissions that resulted in challenging pay cuts. While salaries were not reduced the OTE is no longer achievable and it’s a difference of thousands monthly, can’t even sell stock because it’s tanked. That being said, we’re disappointed in comp and stock but grateful to be employed because It’s no longer a matter of if you’ll be laid off but when.
