Pros
Workday continues to have a unique and superior technology and system to address the business of organizations from HR, Finance and across the company. The people at the individual contributor level tend to be very smart people with a wealth of experience.
Cons
The challenge is that Workday is hiring more and more from outside the company for positions in management. It is extremely difficult to get promoted from within. There also seems to be too many levels of management especially on the sales side. This is resulting in an overly bureaucratic organization with limited opportunities for advancement. There also seems to be a preference for those coming from Oracle. This is changing the culture of the company from the advertised culture and values.
