Pros

- Very chill depending on who your manager is - Yearly bonus/pay increase - Fun to do investigative work - Decent time off (roughly 15 days starting out) - Good benefits (401k 6% match, health, dental, vision)

Cons

- Bad hours (lots of late shifts, 12-9, 2-11, etc.) - Expected to detain a lot of people monthly, unreasonable performance expectations by upper management - Typical bad retail communication - Can be stressful dealing with dishonest shoplifters (Hard to deal with conflict all the time)

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
