Pros

Ok place to use as a stepping stone to get another job.

Cons

There are so many examples of cons at Walmart that I can't mention them all. I will say management has a horrible sense of communication. One manager will tell you to do one task and another comes along to tell you something totally different. They have radios they should use them to communicate. When things go wrong and they get in trouble they go haywire on writing people up and letting them go when management is the one who messed up and don't take responsibility for their screw up. Instead they blame everything on the hourly associates. If they would let their hourly associates do their job and not interrupt stuff might get done.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
