      Pros

      Fair pay rate. You will have lots of opportunities to show upper management that you have what it takes to be a good department manager. Lots of opportunities to move up in the company.

      Cons

      Upper management can over work you most of the time. They expect a lot from you even when your department is short staff. They always think you have enough people when in fact you are short staffed. They can give you projects with very unrealistic time limit. Some customers can be very rude and challenging.

      Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

      Cons

      Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
