Pros
I got a pay raise of 30 cents at my 6 month mark. I'm not sure if that's based on my my performance or position as a Digital Team Associate. But I wasn't even notified about the increase. I just noticed it on my check one day. My managers are great. They are helpful and keep us informed on changes and events. We have meetings and word of important information gets spread quickly. We are a good team regardless of disagreements or bickering. We are usually able to come to compromises quickly. Our current store manager is wonderful. She is very attentive to the functioning of the store and helping all associates. The benefits are great for full time associates. Vision, Dental, and Medical. Walmart also has a program where you can take college courses online to earn a degree or certification and they will pay 100% of your tuition. Schedules are pretty flexible.
Cons
The only problem I have is with one associate who I got involved because of a man who I was dating. They were both associates and the female got jealous and stalked and harassed me on social media. She got her friends and sister to stalk and harass me She keyed my car twice. And finally she found out where I lived and came to my house trying to intimidate me. She still works here at this same store as me. And it upsets me that my managers aren't able to do anything about her harassing me. I don't feel safe here because of her.
