Pros

ins cost is low, 12 weeks of paid LOA, discount card, bonus, can move up in a management position without going to college. Several different job positions and you can apply for all of them.

Cons

raises are small, expectations are not reasonable. Open 24 hours and if your management they are constantly calling you, day, night your days off, and your vacations. Work every Thanksgiving and close every Christmas Eve at 8. No exceptions!! They encourage home/work balance but its not real. Not consistant with accountability.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
