Pros

- A lot of good perks. Fully stocked pantries. Free lunch, transport, reimbursements and what not. - A great work from home policy, although many people misuse it - Salaries at par with the top companies - Latest tech stacks but you'll have to learn their open source frameworks that nobody else uses.

Cons

- Everything that has been written about the Yahoo management on Glassdoor is correct. They've spoilt the culture badly in the past 2 years. I've myself seen managers with no management skills joining in and ruining the culture, leading to multiple exits. - Politics is at it's best now at Walmart. Not a good time to join. - No retention policy. - They don't believe in having master of subjects, rather they want jack of all trades to do patch works here and there without having exact understanding of what and why. - Quality of hiring has gone down, you don't get to work with the best minds of the country any more.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
