Good basic salary however commission structure was one of the worst I have ever worked towards. Offices placed in decent locations. Hours 8.30am - 5.30pm which I felt was decent; used to working at least 50 hours a week in previous positions.
Cons
Where to start!? I have never in my life worked somewhere with such a high turnover of staff...it is shocking! The company seem incapable of retaining anyone past the 12 month mark; 9 months in most cases - or less! The website is horrifically out of date and I won't get started on the "CRM" - it's horrific and adds hours to your day. The system in our office crashed at least 10 times a day (I'm being serious!) and with the computer constantly freezing it was the most frustrating thing ever. Even though I had several years recruitment experience and had supervised a team of 10 in my previous role, I was treated like a newbie - strict KPI targets that didn't make sense, if I wasn't on the phone doing BD by 9.01am I had the Manager in my ear asking me why I wasn't on the phone and any talent or creativity in the office was snuffed out. I was given the task of helping to support one of the team and told she wasn't performing and they felt she was a sinking ship...she was the by far the best person in the office and just needed some support and encouragement!!
