Pros

Entry position into recruiting. Exposure to different companies and many and varied positions in sales, engineering, marketing, customer success, at all levels. I jumped in and learned more than I thought I could or would. CEO has a great way of teaching by not doing everything for you, this way you can learn a lot more by studying things on your own, and then applying some self sufficiency to what you're doing. I learn best when I am trusted to use the critical thinking I got in college. I think some new people wanted to be spoon fed everything, but CEO allows you to dig in and figure things out, all the while she is paying attention to output and guiding from there. I really liked how she trained everyone. She's great, and always waited for me to ask, trying not to kill my learning journey. Loved it!

Cons

Nothing really. It was great for me, and I learned enough to go on with my career.

Pros

I was at UrbanEngineer for 3 years and found it a really great place to start my career in recruiting. Got my foot in the door with various industries and companies ranging from early startups to big corporations. Bridget, the founder, is one of the best at what she does and was a great mentor these past years. She gives lots of opportunities for new challenges/different projects and is always encouraging more learning and growth. She creates great working relationships with her clients and we were often referred by people we worked with. Great place to start in a career in recruiting.

Cons

We started at 7:30am everyday or earlier.

Pros

Stayed here for 4 years, I learned so much, had a great working relationship with the owner. We were friends and worked like a machine. I was paid well, given flexibility and encouraged to grow. I cherished my time working at UE and recommend any person who wants to get their foot in the door in recruiting to consider joining the company. She has a great reputation with companies around the US and a lot of her network is what keeps her and the team busy. Its a small intimate team but I had the opportunity to with small startups to large tech companies, various roles and industries. Come in ready to learn from one of the best recruiters in the industry and grow your career.

Cons

Working from home is not great on physical health, make sure to go for walks.
