Pros
-Generally offer a good starting salary, but raises are nonexistent in the US. -They provide good office technology, mobile access, etc, but do not encourage a flexible workplace. -Strong presence globally provides the opportunity to work on international projects. -Appears to be a good place to work if you live in India.
Cons
I really hated working here: -Abysmal senior leadership! Greedy glorified bean counters, yes men and colleagues of the CEO who think they can grow the company by continuous budget cuts, layoffs and offshoring. -Disastrous recruitment. Anyone who talks a good story and rambles off meaningless buzz-words is IN. Management is completely threatened by those who can produce actual results. Recent grads: your inexperience and low salary requirements are welcome here. -Merit increases are not even addressed by management in the US. There are no raises but they are generally quick to counter when you give notice. Don't fall for it, the industry is too dynamic to waste you time at Unisys. -Offers a portfolio of mostly dated solutions to a market that considers the company irrelevant to begin with. -Depressing workplace with a corporate culture straight out of Dilbert cartoon. -Zero employee appreciation.
