Pros

UniFirst is no different than anything else in life. You get out of it what you put into it. If your a hard worker and have some smarts you will succeed. If you want everything to be handed to you this employer is not for you. If you don't have success you only have yourselves to blame. If you felt like your training was inadequate did you ask questions, did you study after hours, did you educate yourself with all the resources available to you, did you truly take the job seriously, was it a job to you or a career? At UniFirst the sky is the limit but if your not a hard worker you need not apply. It is the most honest large uniform company out there to its employees and it's customers.

Cons

The pay is a little below industry average in some positions at the company but it's getting better and the company is constantly growing and making changes where needed to better help their employees in all aspects of their salary and benefits.

Pros

Upper management genuinely cares about their team, and the hiring process is simple and straightforward. Base pay and the monthly stipend are both fair, and I appreciate the company's structure — questions get answered quickly, and you have dedicated team member support. I also like that the role is self-managing, with CDR handling pricing and deal structuring so you can focus on your own performance. Overall, this company really takes care of its employees.

Cons

The pay structure for this role is a bit unique — after a sale closes, the CDR earns commission for the first few months, and then commission transitions over to the drive team. It's certainly not a deal-breaker, just an observation, and I'm not knocking the company for it. All in all, I had a wonderful experience at UniFirst.
