Pros

Your store team becomes more like family because you're always at work. If you hire the right people it will make your days a little more bearable. The discount is nice.

Cons

The company has become extremely controlling. It's almost as though they do not trust their GM's to run stores. They have put so much on the GM's and store teams with no extra payroll. If you're a good manager and truly care about your team then you will work upwards of 60 hours every week to ensure all things get done. They set unrealistic expectations. They put people in roles that don't deserve to be. The accountability by the DM is not fair across the board. Did I mention you're never at home? I loved this company when I first started and now I hate everyday that I am there. I show up for my team. They are what keeps me going until I find another way. My best advice if you're thinking about applying.....DON'T! Save yourself. This company does not care about you or your well-being.

Pros

Great discount Gratis is good but having worked for Sephora as well, theirs is way better. Fun customers most of the time

Cons

Glorified babysitter when your team is incompetent Store can quickly become a wreck when one manager isn’t pulling their weight Too many hats in this role and way too overbearing. I thought I’d need to see a neurologist for migraines but it turns out I was just way too stressed in my role. ai. And a big push for more and more ai in the future.
