Pros
Prior to its recent acquisition, Uberflip had already experienced a number of rounds of layoffs as a result of market conditions. That doesn't take away from the fact that senior managers and HR did an amazing job in developing community spirit. The intent of the platform and spirit across all teams... product, engineering, marketing, sales and customer success was strong. While it's sad to see it's closure, the staff there will bring amazing success to wherever they end up next.
Cons
Major downside is that it's gone. The platform itself has some limitations that had been acknowledged. Product and engineering knew what needed to be done and was part of the roadmap. Unfortunately, market headwinds were too strong to continue.
