      Some lovely students who wanted to learn and were a pleasure to teach

      Cons

      Tutor Doctor take almost 2/3 of the money and pay tutors very little They never asked to see my DBS. My referees didn't respond to them with references and yet they still let me work for 5 months. They also give out students' addresses even if you only teach them online. This all made me feel very uncomfortable.

      Pros

      The pay is fair and you can choose students to work with based on your skills and availability. You also get information on the student before your first meeting.

      Cons

      There are not always students available, but that is what happens when doing this type of tutoring.
