Pros
-great benefits -hiring diversity (great opportunity for retired leaders to re-enter the workforce) -brand recognition -international company -strong product -product and marketing innovation
Cons
-No Diversity in Leadership -Little work-life balance. Most employees cannot work from home. Even if your job function is one that can be done remotely there is still no accommodation to even occasionally work remotely. -No advancement opportunities in Personal Lines -lower pay when compared to industry -no training or formalized onboarding program -Bonuses are given based on popularity not results -In certain lines of business, women and people of color are consistently ranked lower so they don’t have the opportunity to receive raises or bonus...thus widening the wage gap. However, because employees are forbidden to discuss salary, there is no way to bring this to the attention of the right people b/c doing so would reveal that employees have been discussing a forbidden topic and be terminated. -the company offers tuition reimbursement but employees are declined when they try to use it. Be prepared to cover the cost of your own education if you come to this company. -The company wants to be innovative, but doesn’t embrace technology
