We pay above national living wage and work hard to ensure that we remain competitive with similar organisations. We paid a bonus this year which is directly related to our turnover and profit goals where a high number of our competitors and other retailers did not pay out bonus. Whilst we describe ourselves as a median pay employer and understand that there are other retailers, particularly the larger supermarket chains where pay is greater than ours, we do work hard to ensure that our lowest paid members of the business receive the greatest uplift in pay year on year. As as result, our retail teams experienced an uplift of between 6 - 9 % recently in our last annual pay review and also the year prior. In 2023 we also paid a voluntary cost of living payment to the majority of our workforce. Adele - Talent Attraction Manager
