Pros
If you work for Investments, I don't think there are any positives. Tangerine has a nice building and cafeteria, and that's pretty much it.
Cons
The investment department is a joke. All Advisors used to be very happy coming to work, however over the last year or so the investment department has gone downhill. Management is clueless and don't know how to treat people. I have been working in this company for 5 years and this is the worst management team that have ever been in place! They have minimum to zero knowledge about investments and treat people like garbage. Believe all the negative reviews around here. Only take this job as a last resort. All the young guys with Bachelor Degrees, CFAs ect.. have left to work for Investment Management companies or big banks like CIBC or BMO because they realized this job is a joke. Even if you are top employee, top sales ect.. don't care too much as your review will still be bad. You will be dinged for take more than 3 mins washroom break or not replying to an email sent by upper management However, if you want to be treated like a cattle then feel free to accept their job offer.
