I decided to share my experience within the organisation. My time at Stripe is a place with an unhealthy culture. First, most people who work at Stripe hate it and verbally say that. However, Stripe pays a lot, and that is a reason for people to stay. I remember a recruiter telling me a Stripe is one of the best-paying companies. If another company pays more, they have a boring product or a terrible culture. Stripe has to spend a lot as well because the culture is toxic. There is a culture of selfishness, intimidation and creating fear to let people do what they want. I tried to contact HR to share my story in multiple situations, but they didn't want that. They point you to the virtual door. At this time, when you experience inappropriate behaviour, HR should listen to you; however, in my case, that did not happen. I understand that money is, to most people, a big driver, but Stripe is not worth it. They have a high turnover rate, and this is because of the culture in the organisation. I know many people who started working after I left the organisation, and they all say it was one of there worst experiences in their working career.
