Pros
I have been with Sony through many ups and downs. Over the last five years, and especially since Covid, I have seen the work environment and culture evolve and improve. There is a great mix of employee network groups and offerings across Sony to interact with colleagues and learn about different parts of the business. Highlights for me during Covid included panel discussions with Spike Lee, Rita Moreno and a diverse group of leaders and artists in the Sony pictures
Cons
With headquarters in Tokyo, the hours can be long and the business decisions can feel remote and out of touch with local business. Focus on profit means that vacancies can take time to fill.
