Pros
Name recognition, work-life balance, some telecommuting, nice facility and parking structure.
Cons
Ever since the reorganization in 2009, employees are treated like commodities instead of human beings. No one asked for our opinion as to where we would be shuffled to, what projects and responsiblities we wanted, and with whom we'd like to work with. Isn't that why we originally interview with a company - so we get the best fit for all? We've gone through layoffs every year since and now another major one has been announced. Most of us (70%) in Finance have been notified - and there's no guarantee that the ones left behind will not go through this again next year... Most likely, they will! The company is plagued with layers of middle management (Mgrs, Sr. Mgrs, Directors, VP's, Sr VP's).... WHY????? Each layer just causes more slow decisions and red tape.
