Amazing people, plenty to learn, but extremely poor management. - Laboratory Sharp HealthCare Employee Review

Pros

Pay was very high. Health insurance was practically free for single people. Saved a lot of money. If you have a family, you will save thousands on appointments and surgeries. I worked with some amazing people from many walks of life. I wish I worked for them instead of the management they have still. Plenty to learn, if you really want to be in the field. Very easy to become a versatile, well-rounded, and an experienced laboratory individual.

Cons

Management. Worked at least two weekends a month. It was too difficult to take time off. It was easier to call in sick and use PTO that way, instead of actually requesting vacations. Management did not consider that their subordinates had lives outside of work. Worked almost every holiday, which made it hard to spend time with friends and family, especially with those that had to travel to SD.

Pros

Wonderful work environment and coworkers

Cons

I don’t focus on negative, just room for improvement. And I worked here in 2006 or 2007. Glassdoor didn’t give me the option to go back that far for when my employment ended. Just an FYI.
