Great atmosphere. Full hands-on training in product knowledge. Work life balance. Customer service experience is the best you can get. A lot of Gratis (ie: free products)

Cons

Low salaries for consultants. May take time to move up within company, but fully depends on team leaders and store managers and whether they like you or not.

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!
