Pros

-Lots of gratis (free product) -Bonuses when sales goals are met -flexible hours -great discount

Cons

-No benefits when working FT hours at PT status -Often short staffed due to hard partying employees who call in sick and never get in trouble for it -Daily reminders about how clients aren't happy with service due to short staffing, a rude employee, employees not being available to help b/c they're busy helping others and it is a reflection of the whole team. -lots of robotic cleaning -they will cut your hours without telling you or after the schedule has been posted if they aren't making enough money EDIT** someone just got hired with less experience than I, less responsibilities, and less on the job experience not to mention less time on the job for 62 cents more to START while I just got a raise, she still gets more. Talk about unfairness in the workplace - can't' wait to get out of here and move on.

Pros

fun getting gratis and hosting in-store events, meeting brand ambassadors/managers, socializing with clients

Cons

manager created a weird environment -- coaching moments were sometimes extremely aggressive for a retail environment; strict on not applying makeup to clients unless they purchase a service. once made me move from a disabled client quickly because I was "spending too much time with them" and to further boost the store sales. felt extremely unethical.
