Pros

The overall environment is really fun. Being around makeup and skin care all the time is great. The customers are pretty good compared to most other retailers. Gratis is an awesome benefit. Co workers are fun. It’s a fun job if you’re just working part time with no intentions of growing with the company. Overall, my location really does live by their company values.

Cons

Operations team does all the heavy work but gets little to no recognition. Operations associates assist in ALL areas of the store performing multiple roles, but no one else ever helps operations. Hours constantly get cut even though the workload simply can’t be completed in the given time frame. Working overnights. Passive aggressive coaching over the walkies, bad attitudes, and coaching on the sales floor in front of customers. Things get talked about but never done. Promises get made and not kept. Over worked and underpaid. No dedicated time to development and training.

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!
