Pros

-Good training when you start -Always able to switch shifts and get requested time off -Potential for bonuses -Discounts -Free product

Cons

-High staff turnover -Low pay -Training sessions were offered for new products but cashiers were often the only members of staff not invited to learn about the product. When customers would ask questions we didn’t have the confidence to answer because we weren’t trained (Training sessions also mean free product)

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Cons

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
