Pros

I enjoyed my time there because of some of the wonderful cast members, made lots of friends! Free samples. Product knowledge, in-store training. Gratis, although I never got any.

Cons

It's still retail, so hours and pay isn't going to be the best. Poor management, lots of miscommunication. I'd be told to do one thing by one director and the other will tell me differently. What's the deal? I also was the only one in the store with no Gratis box, the management simply "forgot". Being only in the cashier position for months was not what I expected as I was told management will put people into different "worlds" after a certain amount of time but it Never happened. it's a menial position and it gets extremely frustrating at times. Cast members don't get to learn if they're constantly doing cashier work. Lots of micromanagement. Store is dusty as heck! In the end it's still retail! I was very excited to work there but realized that it isn't all that great in the end.

Pros

+ monthly training gratis + brand and product training + exposure to working with luxury brands + technology device supplements role

Cons

- unstable hours / unstable income - part-time employee classification has a wide weekly hourly gap (e.g., 15-29 weekly hours) and the availability expectation is that of a full-time (e.g., required to be open 4-5 a week, open to close) - minimal career growth if wanting to become full-time within the same store
