Pros

I enjoyed working swing shifts, I got a lot done. Not too much pressure especially after 7 pm things slow down. I got to meet new people.

Cons

It's really stressful. I was promised a promotion. My store manager was underpaying me, and secretly replacing me. My store union rep did nothing useful to help out which the store manager told me I was no longer going to be a bagger and I would go into the Bakery completely but one mess up and I was going to be fired. I had issues where managers would take the side of others instead of hearing the side of the baggers. Checkers are heavily protected. If you want to work here remember, you need to have balls of steel and a lot of patience to work in the grocery business. You need to suck up to climb up the ranks in the grocery business.
