      There is a 10% employee discount on Safeway Brand products. It is good to gain a little work experience

      Cons

      Borderline minimum wage. The back room for employees only is quite repulsive. Everyone hates their job, no matter the position. The management, they are hypocrites who are lazy in what they do, some are even rude. They can be demeaning.

      Friendly and helpful colleagues, weekly pay and flexible schedule

      Cons

      When it is busy, it is very busy. Lunch/Break may get pushed back or even denied in extreme cases because there is no one to cover for you.
