Pros
Pay is competitive for grocery. Benefits are good. Can get a lot of OT at certain locations. Union for hourly employees gives you some leverage.
Cons
Corporate management lost merger is a disaster. A lot of awful store managers in neglected store's get away with way too much. Way too much time spent trying to reinvent the wheel instead of just being in the business of selling things people want and need for a good price.
