Gone down hill since merger with Albertson's - Anonymous employee Safeway Employee Review

Too much workload with no time given to get it done. Takes WAY too long to get a raise. People that have been there for almost seven years and are dedicated employees still only make ten cents over minimum wage. The only way to make more money is to move up with the company. The wage you get for doing that is not worth the stress of them setting you up for failure with too much workload and not enough time. The hours are terrible and all over the place with no structure which leads to burnout. There are times I work 11 days in a row and with no overtime because of how the pay periods work.
