SAIT overall can be a good place to work but Employee Services (HR) is horrid and won't change until department leadership changes. Everyone is overworked, and yet they keep reducing numbers. Complaints and concerns go into a void, never to be seen again. Gaslighting is common place, you'll hear a unique answer to the same question from every single person you ask. Most people in the department are just resigned to it and don't care about much, the few good people don't last long, in fact over 50% of the department quit in one go. Do better, SAIT.
