Pros
It is a big company, so managers won't tend to think that you are being lazy to earn the pay, unlike small businesses. You get to learn about retail structures and if you are lucky, you get to learn a little about stock management, merchandising and helping in the cosmetic department. Not too hard or fast-paced if you compare it with the food industry.
Cons
It gets boring when you do tasks repetitively and you will get tired by standing or walking for long hours. One thing that did make me leave was a terrible manager who was racist and suddenly started to pick up on me by giving me warnings every two days. She would give me a warning because one cardboard was not put away while no one normally puts them away. I did not want to get fired and have a bad record so I left the company.
