Pros

The times in which I was being fooled into thinking my position was safe were enjoyable. Ignorance was bliss.

Cons

The senior management appeared to have their own little cult where they neglected other workers from parking in the staff carpark despite there being plenty of spaces. I'm not sure looking back now, if that was legal. You start your role understanding the contract to be a permanent one. And now I wish I had challenged my dismissal further. The first month involved training. The second month we officially started our role. Or so we thought. In the second month there were peculiar occasions where we were advised we could take a longer lunch break, and then leave work up to two hours early on the day. We were advised there was nothing for us to do in these times. Come the third month was when all the work came in. This was when myself and many other new starters were being used properly, I would say, to carry out the expected tasks. We were then fired one by one. It was one person a day in the end. By the end of the third month, it became evident that they only hired numerous people to carry out the job in hand/ heavy workload they were expecting to arrive in September. Once that had been completed, they were more than happy to dismiss the individuals after wasting three months of their lives.

We welcome employee feedback both positive and negative and so thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are committed to a culture where everyone is dedicated to doing the right thing and are confident in raising where they don’t believe that this has been the case. If this hasn’t been your experience then we would welcome the opportunity to learn more. We have unfortunately been unable to follow up internally as, due to us being a closed book business, we don’t have sales representatives at our Telford, Hitchin or Norwich sites. We would therefore ask, if you feel able, to contact us directly at alex.ellis@reassure.co.uk to discuss your experiences further.

Thank you for your positive review. Unfortunately we have limited car parking space available. The fairest way to allocate spaces is on a length of service basis – we operate a waiting list to ensure spaces are allocated when available. In close proximity to our offices, you will find public car parking averaging at around £3 to £4 a day. There may be an option to purchase a discounted pass at these sites. Alternatively, our main offices in Telford and Hitchin are well served by national rail services with stations just a short walking distance away.
